Lots of things are going on at once!

Sorry it's been so long since I've written. A lot has happened in my life since the last time I wrote on here. First of all, my Christmas was well. Nana was here and she brought presents for me! She brought me a lip smacker, a rainbow loom to make bracelets, and lots of other things. I got a gun for Christmas too from mom and dad! It's a small camo bb gun and dad set up a shooting target. I think the target if funny because it's a cooler that still has salted fish inside of it! He left it outside and I can't believe the eagles haven't gotten it yet. I also got a set of electronic snap circuits and you can build all kinds of things! I also got an erector set. It was a pretty good Christmas.

I back to school now and mom got me a new curriculum. I love everything about it and it's perfect! I'm having fun with it.

Homeschool gym class started back and we are on our second week. We do it twice a week. Today we learned how to play frisbee. I could throw pretty well but I couldn't catch at all. It's true.

There's big news at our house and guess what it is... We're having a baby!
I'm so excited I can barely wait, although it's going to be a long long time till it comes out. Oh and guess what, on the ultrasound it was squiggling all around. Squiggling and banging, it was kind of like a worm in water. I got to see it sucking it's thumb. I loved it. I want a girl. We've all agreed on a girls name but we all have our different opinion on a boy name.

I'm going to be 7 in less than 2 months. I'm going to have a dog sled party. I can't wait!

Well, that's all for now. Bye and I promise that it won't take 2 months for me to start writing again!

  2. Hi Ansley,
I am so happy that you are going to be a big sister. You will be a wonderful help to your Mom and Dad, I am sure. I love you description of the baby in the ultrasound. I know many grown-ups who could not express what the baby looks like as well as you did. You are becoming a very fine writer. Keep it up!

Be careful with that BB gun please!

  3. It sounds like you had the perfect Christmas. I am not surprised that you got snap circuits and an erector set as part of your presents. I have been following your Mom’s blog for some time and know from what she has written that you love to do creative, challenging things. I also enjoy reading about all of the wonderful things you are doing with your school work. I home-schooled my kids for a short time when they were younger (they are both adults now). I think the curriculums' you can get now are so much better than they were years ago.
A new baby in the family is really great news. Whether your mom has a girl or a boy I am sure you will be the best big sister.
